Magnolias are stunning in appearance and a grand, old-fashioned flower!
There are two types of magnolias. The Southern Magnolia blooms while in full foliage. The Star, (or Saucer) Magnolia blooms before the leaves appear. The Star Magnolia is what we are painting today.
This past Spring, I was caught by the image of beautiful, pink and white magnolias on a leafless tree. They looked just like glorious birds in flight! ENJOY!

Cheri uses a limited number of colors and a combination of Oils and Alkyds that results in most colors drying overnight. However, you may use any medium you choose.
