Gladiola is the birth flower for August. My mom and I share the same birthday in August. Therefore, we always had Gladiolas in our flower beds while growing up in California. Neither mom nor I had a green thumb, but my grandma could make anything grow. She had beautiful beds of flowers all the way around her house. Good MEMORIES! Enjoy!
