Peanut Butter and Jelly (or Jam) sandwiches are our favorite, especially if we are traveling. It's also a childhood memory of carrying our lunch boxes to school. Much preferred over a warm bologna sandwich. In this painting I was intrigued with the different textures and shading on the white cloth and light wheat bread without turning them black. The best part...was eating the "set up" when I was done! I love Cherry Jam.
