My dear friend, Peggie, who loves to "Antique", found this precious piece during one of her "hunts".
It takes time for the design process...should I add a book? an ink bottle? a flower? a quill? As the imagination settled, it seemed more profound and elegant with the brass, glass, and quill by themselves. Having two reflective surfaces is a big challenge, brass and glass! Of course, the glass becomes the star with all the triangle facets. The final challenge is the feather. Soft taupe colors and a liner brush create the floaty look of this ostrich plume.

Cheri uses a limited number of colors and a combination of Oils and Alkyds that results in most colors drying overnight. However, you may use any medium you choose.
